How to make it daytime?

I just tried to make a new custom world for my friend and I - but it's becoming nighttime just as I finish it, and I want it to be daytime by the time we play. How do I set the time? I tried changing day duration until the sun came up, but when I change it back to 2 hrs the sun goes straight back to where it was before, setting.

 

Disable sun Rotation maybe help or day duration 1 day ?

 

A was running into a similar problem. The sun reverts back to the default position from the Environment.sbc file. My solution was to wait for the sun to get close to where I wanted it, then set the day duration to maximum. Of course, you will have to do it every time the sun sets, but at least it's better than working in an eternal morning
