How to update a Steam workshop mod

I've needed to do a bugfix on a spawn ship mod. How do I get the update onto my existing steamworkshop item?

This is >not< just a blueprint file but a respawn mod.

I made the changes in my ...\Appdata\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods\<my mod>

and now need to get the fixes out to others.

 

I think it may be... and i want to leave this thread up for next time I have to redo this...

goto one of your loads, select edit settings, mods then select the local version of the mod. That is the one with the file directory style icon. Now hit publish in the lower left.

Then go to the workshop version of the mod, with the Valve lever thing icon, and select refresh

You should now have updated the workshop and then your local copy to keep you in sync
