Hydrogen Trading/Transfer between two factions

We found a bit of hurdle on Keen NA#1 today. We tried to transfer hydrogen from our tanker to stranded ship of another faction.

No matter what we did tho the tanks would not take the Hydrogen from our ship

Connectors were set to Share With All and Trade was ON for both ships on them. Both of ours tanks were Share With All as well and theirs were on Stockpile. No hydrogen would however transfer between the ships so do we need to make like extra tanks and trade the whole blocks between us or are we missing something?

Trade does not allow for transferring of inventory items or gasses. It only allows for commerce through the store etc. I think you can do what you're looking for by turning trade off and setting the blocks involved to "anyone can use" for the time being.

 

You may not have the control over the exact volume with this method. The reciving tank needs to be put on stockpile and the giving tank needs stockpiling off. All other tanks need to be turned off or disconnected from the conveyor. Don't forgett about O2/H2-generators.

 

Last time I tried I was able to take hydrogen from a space pirate base using the stockpile option.
