Is it possible to prevent automatic transfer of goods through connector while still being able to transfer goods manually.

I have a problem where I want to dock ships and move goods to and from the ships, but I do not want the station interacting in anyway with the docked ships inventory. If I have inventory management I what that management to occur on the ship that needs it and not allow moving goods automatically.

    So my questions are this:
Is there any way fro this to be accomplished?
Could I make a new connector that prevents automatic movement but still allows me to move stuff through it manually?
Could I use a script that would look at connectors that are in a group/named and using logic prevent items from passing through it unless the player does it?
Any other ways that this could be done?

    Thanks,
    Bob

I'm not a dev, but I've looked at it. Specific examples would be helpful.

As example : Are your referring to ore on a ship automatically moving into the refinery of another ship or station?
If so, it could be the refinery/assembler/weapons/reactors and such with "Use Conveyors?" ON. With "Use Conveyors?" selected, a refinery will try to pull it ore from all cargo containers from all connected ships/stations until it reaches its full state. Select the refinery and shut off conveyor usage.

The only other way to block things that I know of is to use conveyor sorters, but that probably won't work the way you request.
