Ive been trying to modify gravity of the standard planets, but I wasnt succesfull with changing the one line in PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc or Triton.sbc
    e.g.

    <SurfaceGravity>2.8</SurfaceGravity>

Is this outdated? Do I need to change sth additional?

Did you re-paste the planet or create a new world? Because the gravity setting is saved to the planet's OB aswell so it would load that one instead of the definition.

You can also edit the save, for it to take effect you need to delete .sbcB5 file to have it load the .sbc and generate an updated .sbcB5 for that.

Creating a new world didnt change anything unfortunately.

I have seen other mods in the workshop that also used the same approach as me, but their gravity modifications dont work either. Did the devs change sth?

    Edit

Never mind, it is not enough to create a new world. Apparently you literally have to replace the planets. Starting a new starsystem doesnt work apparently

@Digi What do you mean by updating the .sbsB5 file? I navigated to the save, deleted the file and loaded the game again. The game told me that the format is outdated and that it would update to new format automatically, it generates a new .sbsB5 file, but the gravity changes still dont apply.
What do I need to do?

    Figured it out.

For anyone interested: The SANDBOX_0_0_0_.sbs file needs to be adapted, then delete the sbsB5 file and let spaceengineers load the save
