I had been using Malware's (I think that's his name?) method of moving the save folder with -AppData pathgohere.
Somewhere in the last 24-48 hours, that's broken/bugged/something. My Steam Launch argument got wiped, but now I've tried to re-enter it, but it won't work.

This is the directory structure, all files and subfolders are in here:
    E:\Games\SavesReroute\SpaceEngineers

    This is my Launch argument:
    -AppData E:\Games\SavesReroute

Every time I try to launch the game, it won't find the directory now. I've tried the following combinations, and none of them have worked:
    -AppData E:\Games\SavesReroute\
    -AppData "E:\Games\SavesReroute\"
    -AppData "E:\Games\SavesReroute"
    -AppData E:\Games\SavesReroute\SpaceEngineers
    -AppData "E:\Games\SavesReroute\SpaceEngineers"
    -AppData "E:\Games\SavesReroute\SpaceEngineers\"

What's going on? Is the function not supported anymore? Is my computer just being stupid? Is Steam being stupid?

Aha... I've apparently found the problem. "-AppData" can't be capitalized... That's literally it.
The argument now goes as follows:
    -appdata -AppData E:\Games\SavesReroute\SpaceEngineers

So yea. That's it. Frustration resolved, rage averted (mostly).
