Ore problema

I have recently re-downloaded this game to try to fix a bug where the only ores I get are magnesium and silicon, but now I searched for 20 min with an ore detector and can’t find anything!

 

Are you searching on a planet, in space, on foot, in a rover, in a ship.

Please remember that the drill and small grid ore detector are very short range.

If your on a planet then I'd suggest flying around and looking for discoloured patches as they signify ore deposits.

Unless your basically directly on top of the ore deposits then the detectors are basically useless.

I can't comment if there is a current issue with ores as it's iten a while since I mined anything... Easier to 'borrow' parts from NPC ships.

 

Yeah, ore detectors are pretty bad. Just using your eyes is usually more effective. Asteroids in close proximity (like less than a kilometer) tend to have the same resources as well.

 

You just can't beat the Mk. 1 Eyeball.
