Not used team speak in a year and half (same age as my kids) because it would wake them, but yes TS is good for any game
And allot less leggy than Skype

but what i like at Skype is that the quality is most of the time better and you can cam ^^

 

Really? Me and mine have found that skype is generally a dreadful application... losing connection at the slightest net speed fluctuation, poor sound quality, weird volume control (we occasionally had to do the volume song, a baritone crescendo to make skype fix it's volume), interfered with other applications, crashes... etc.

 

My in-laws are abroad and we use Skype, and the above post sums up what each call is like...

I'm thinking of buying them an IPod Touch and just using FaceTime...

Regarding skype:
Turn off the auto volume adjustment in windows and skype. That will fix the volume up and down problem.
As to the quality and disconect, i have no idea.
I used it as my primary confrence call method for years without any problems.

[FONT= &#39]If you can convince people in the Steam chat to join, it might get some regular use. But give it time. All it takes is a couple people being on at a similar time, then someone else logging on at that time and noticing that others use it, etc. It will snowball.[/FONT]

 

The Teampseak is not dead every day at 18:00 im on there until 22:20 then i go off until then i´m at the ts muted with the sentense (poke if needed) ^^
so if some one needs sommething channel or other stuff just add me on steam amnfred621 or meet me at the ts ^^

 

What about Mumble? It's kinda cool to have directional chat based on the person speaking next to you. Although I'm not sure it's supported in this game. Even without it tho, still a good chat program.

 

The TS server at the address in the OP doesn't seem to be SE related.

 

Mumble is rather excellent. My cousin and friends have been using it for over a year now on our server. It's really good IMO.
