    Greetings

Yes I have searched about this in various places, most things I found date back to November, December and there seems to be no definitive answer other than ram trees with a vehicle or ship until they fall over and even then most report they can still not build in the space were the tree was.

Is there still no way of actually removing a tree permanently in Space Engineers? Really? Seeing as most of my survival base builds are rather organic as my needs or moods change I have on several occasions ran into problems with trees being in the way. I am starting to get a bit peeved with this though having to always remove a huge chunk of what I have built to remodel my base around a tree.

If the only way to remove them is either modify files or some other wonky work around I am just flabbergasted, didn't anyone from Keen perceive this may be a problem in survival? Surely with planets having been here a bit by now they would have implemented a way to get rid of them? :eek:ops:

P.S. In hindsight I should have posted this in the Survival forum as I now go into creative mode and use the voxel hands to remove those interfering trees. Just seems a no brainer they would have included a way in survival mode to remove a tree that is in the way. :whatever:

Rockets. Dunno about making the removal permanent, but it's definitely entertaining to shoot them with rockets

There's a setting for vegetation in the cfg file for multiplayer. It's also in the Sandbox.sbc file.

I'm not sure if it shows up in the game settings GUI itself.

    "<FloraDensity>20</FloraDensity>"

I believe if you set this to 0, trees and bushes should go away.
