Rope drum is directional

    The rope drum will only work in one direction and there is no indication on which direction it should face. If the rope drum is not working as intended, the player must disassemble, rotate it, then replace it.

    You have tried holding Sfit+F on the turning wheel right, or is that issue different.

    This can sometimes be problematic when using multiple rope drums in tandem. One rope drum, for example, might contract when rotating clockwise, whereas another rope drum that appears identical but is rotated 180° will extend when rotated clockwise.

    As sanfard said, it is impossible to determine the orientation of the rope drum when it is placed.
