Me and some friends are interested in running a dedicated server - how do we go about this?
What are the relevant costs per month?
What services do people recommend for hosting ME?

    Many thanks.

The dedicated server software is available for free on Steam in the tools section. A copy is also included with the game itself. This allows you to host games on your own PC or server. If you would rather rent a server, you can host on any Windows server or use a specialized "gaming" server. In the latter case, we can't give much in the way of advice for configuring servers as game server providers tend to use custom dashboard software. We recommend consulting with your server provider's technical support to answer questions in that case.

The full technical guide for configuring dedicated servers can be found at http://www.medievalengineerswiki.com/index.php?title=Keen:Dedicated_Server_Configuration
For remote management of dedicated servers see http://www.medievalengineerswiki.com/index.php?title=Keen:Remote_Client

Our official hosts list (server providers who have registered with us) can be found at http://www.medievalengineerswiki.co...Dedicated_Server_Configuration/Official_Hosts

Our community has offered quite a bit of information about working with gaming hosts including a guide posted to our wiki http://www.medievalengineerswiki.com/index.php?title=Setting_up_a_rented_server
While this is not official information, it has been used successfully by others.

    Good luck and happy gaming!
