So I just got introduced to SE a few days ago, and I'm really enjoying it. I want to set up a server so I can do multi-player with some friends, and of course it runs into a snag. It starts up and quits immediately. So are there logs I can look at that would shed some light on this? I've been doing IT work for decades so I have a good handle on the network and OS side of things, just need to figure out what the software's issue is. (I'm assuming the hardware complaint there is because it's running on actual server hardware and not a desktop CPU) The server console output is: 2020-05-19 09:54:24.115: App Version: 01_194_211 2020-05-19 09:54:24.121: Is official: True [NO][NIS][NAMP] 2020-05-19 09:54:24.121: Environment.ProcessorCount: 8 2020-05-19 09:54:24.136: Environment.OSVersion: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Standard (Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0) 2020-05-19 09:54:24.136: Environment.CommandLine: "C:\SE-server\DedicatedServer64\SpaceEngineersDedicated.exe" -noconsole -ignorelastsession -checkAlive 2020-05-19 09:54:24.136: Environment.Is64BitProcess: True 2020-05-19 09:54:24.136: Environment.Is64BitOperatingSystem: True 2020-05-19 09:54:24.137: Environment.Version: .NET Framework 4.7.3610.0 2020-05-19 09:54:24.137: Environment.CurrentDirectory: C:\SE-server\DedicatedServer64 2020-05-19 09:54:24.137: CPU Info: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4110 CPU @ 2.10GHz Computer does not meet minimum requirements, forcing Experimental mode 2020-05-19 09:54:26.418: Bind IP : 0.0.0.0:27777 2020-05-19 09:54:30.595: Server successfully started 2020-05-19 09:54:30.595: Product name: Space Engineers 2020-05-19 09:54:30.595: Desc: Space Engineers 2020-05-19 09:54:30.595: Public IP: <some address of mine> 2020-05-19 09:54:30.595: Steam ID: 90135401988923398 2020-05-19 09:54:30.700: Server connected to Steam 2020-05-19 09:54:31.204: Server Name: xBrushfirex 2020-05-19 09:54:31.205: World Name: TheForge Server was stopped. --- Automerge --- FWIW, someone helped me out and I needed to install the VC++ 2019 library, now it's happy.
