SpaceEngineersModSDK issues?

    Ok, so thought I'd delve into modding models, got everything installed for blender, go to import an FBX file, figured I'd try something simple, like an armor cube, Blender goes immediately to "Not responding", waited and finally had to end task (tried once waiting 6 hours on it just in case it was a long inital load). tried several other and the only model i could actually import was the "ArmorAlphaTest" cube, so this tells me everything is fine on my end, so is there something wrong with the actual real files in the SDK or am i missing something to get them imported?

    Are you running the Steam version of Blender or the actual program downloaded from their site? I have fewer issues with the one from their site when I tried the one from Steam I had a bunch of issues.
    Sometimes the SDK does have issues, I found it is better to use the SDK that is with Medieval Engineers if you have that use it over the SE one.

    I got to the point where modding wasn't worth the headache anymore, so this may no longer be the best options.

    Got it directly from Blenders site, Hmm...didn't think about the ME SDK, I'll Have to try that. Yea took a break and come back, things have changed, see there's quite a few Older Modders gone now too. guess I know why now.
