When I created a station with the "New station" button when pressing "G", I found out that in a while, the station converted itself to a ship, because it was moving! So I did a test station with thrusters and gyroscopes, went into the cockpit a couple of times without accessing the terminal, and found that I could move the station, which became a ship without my notice. Stations aren't supposed to move, aren't they. When I went into the terminal, the "Convert to ship" button was disabled. Strange. Here was the logs:

That most likely is the new "Voxel support" option for a world within the advanced settings.

It makes every static block that is not attached to an asteroid turn into dynamic blocks.

So it's not a bug then. Whoops...

Wait, however, what about stations in the empty world, do we need to add station support for them?
We probably do need to make placed station blocks static in creative mode.

No, anything that is not touching any voxels will become a ship. Even if you create it in world where his is disabled. As soon as you remove one block, BEM, its a ship.

I really dont like this option, mainly as its so not performance friendly (same thing will hammer your server much more when its a ship instead of station).

If that happens to you, then it is a bug. I run a world with disabled voxel support and my static grid never turned into a dynamic even though it is an empty world with no asteroid at all.
So no, it should not automatically turn into a dynamic even with that option disabled.

No you did not understand what I meant.
If you create a station in a world where its disabled and then paste it to a world where its enabled (or just enable it in that world afterwards), it will transform such stations to ships too.
    I was reacting to this:

But as I already mentioned, its really bad to have it on when you like to have high sim-speed, so I will never enable this option on my server.
