This is an old application, however I would love for this to be looked at, and possibly put into the game. Nothing, and I mean nothing, would be more awesome than a FAT. (Floating Arm Trebuchet)

Anyone interested in bulding your own Trebuchet this is a great application for that as well.

(I don't work for, or be paid by these guys. They just created an awesome product related to ancient weapons of mass destruction!)

And there is a free web based one! : https://www.virtualtrebuchet.com

Also its not likely to be put in game as ME is not a trebuchet sim! İts just a creation in the game.

İf it was put in the game, why only trebuchet? Why are we excluding catapults, ballistas and other very cool warmachines?

Also i dont know how fat works, but it may be possible to make in the game somehow.

Aaand paying more than the game's actual cost for a trebuchet simulator to use in the game doesnt seem very wise. But its your(or someone elses) choice to get or not thats just my opinion.

My refrence was, the game should strive, for as close to simulation as possible for "mechanics".
    This isn't called. "Medieval Life"
    It's called "Medieval Engineers"

Ever heard the term "Siege Engineers"
It was once a true profession. Where they built siege equipment!

I would consider "Siege Engineers" as part of "Medieval Engineers".

I fully understand the current state of the game. I own all games by Keen. I've been following them since shortly after they announced Miner Wars!

I'm just saying, I would like to see, "simulation style" physics/wheels/sliders/motion/etc. Even if it runs at 5fps! Not many people can afford to build a catapult, that could launch a

When you say catapults, I'm assuming you are referring to an Onager.
I don't see why improved physics, wouldn't benifit catapults, and especially ballistas!

What a FAT needs, a Ballista also needs. (And a flexy arm, preferrably with adjustable flex-weight)

All I'm saying is what I would like to see in the game, and there are a few rather... specific design points, needed to create a FAT... However with a modern design. (and tech from the stone age) you can make a crazy awesome treb!
(This is coming from someone who built a traditional treb that would fire a golf-ball about 200 yards)
