Update 01.086 - Space Race scenario, scenario editor

    Summary
    A new scenario has been added to the game: Space Race! This is the first multiplayer mission that we have added so far, so more features and options will be added later on. We’ve also implemented a new scenario editor where you can set the lose/win conditions and set up your own scenario (single and multiplayer). Currently, the only type of game scenario that you can create is a race - but more features and options will be added in future updates, so more types of missions and gamemodes will become possible. All created missions will be automatically loaded as survival ones. Additionally, we added the option to disable spawning in a respawn ship for your maps and also the option to disable the light eye adaptation when running a DX11 game (under graphics settings).

    Fixes
    - fixed Space Engineers not working on primary monitor on DX11
    - fixed sounds cracking
    - fixed weird shadows in MSAA
    - fixed helmet lights not working on MSAA
    - fixed weird shadows on DX 11

    Community updates
    - more github community updates will be added next week

    EDIT 06/12/2015:
    Update 01.086.010

    - fixed crash when copy pasting
    - fixed modded materials for voxels not rendering in DX 11
    - fixed scenario publishing to workshop

    Dang. I'm not really a space race thingy player, but more stuff is good.

    I'm a bit sad though, no mention of the timer->programmable block issue with arguments. I'll still start the game and hope it's magically fixed but...

    edit: nope, not fixed. argh, I have whole ships grounded because of thiiiiiiiiis. Next week I suppose :\

    Well, that was disappointing. The DX11 fixes are welcome, but to most of us, scenarios aren't that big a deal.

    ...yay I guess...? Not.....really of any use to....a lot of people....other than the DX11 fixes for the primary monitor and the MSAA.....I mean....I'm really happy for those....was REALLY hoping for more DX11 textures though....8/

    I'll test this tomorrow, hopefully you can toggle certain ships and it's not like disable every spawn ship,

    This update may not seem important to many, and i'm sure as hell not about to get on and race someone... but this is the precursor to being able to have deathmatch type of missions, and maybe even see some PVP in this game.

    Would be really fun to have a 5v5 battle that after the match was over it could reset and everyone go again.

    Well, you shouldn't see the spacerace as new "level" or "content" they implemented, but as example world, of what can be done with the scenario-editor. And hopefully, many of us will have good ideas that end up with a couple of great szenarios on steam.

    And for those who are like "meh, no netcode, no multithreading, no ....." - they are on it, just another 1-3 months (or more or less =D)

    Honestly, I'm not even going to call this new content. The scenario editor should have been released at the same time scenarios themselves were. Obviously Keen had the means to develop them, so why didn't they give it to players? So basically the only "new" stuff is junk no one cares about that should have come out several updates ago. And fixes that should have come LAST WEEK.

    that aside, this update is pretty good for people who make some maps such as "escape the station" or "fix this" o so, i predict a lot of usage of scenarios as soon as the new options become available

    I'm happy with any update really... but I don't think you guys should be spending, or rather wasting your time making unimportant scenarios.

    Yay? This is very useful for people who enjoy multiplayer and have a good connection, but pretty useless for people with a bad connection. The editor seems cool though. Might give it a shot....

    This is....disappointing....Who needs special "scenarios" for races..? you can have 3 guys, 2 racing and one at the finish line to say exactly who won. Boom, no more need of stuff like this.

    While i do appreciate the DX11 fixes....this is actually a "here have some things most of you will never use" update....
