Update 02.036 - Bugfixes and Resource Optimizations

    Summary
    The stabilization period continues this week with new fixes and improvements. We changed resources like scrap wood, branches, logs, and stones to floating objects, which will improve performance. Additionally we enabled copy and paste in creative mode for all floating objects in the game.



    Features
    - changed resources from grids to floating objects
    - enabled copy/paste in creative mode for floating objects

    Fixes
    - fixed objects not falling when objects below them are removed
    - fixed bug that the player list (F3) shows bots
    - fixed generated edges making blocks fragile
    - fixed spawning inside blocks above beds
    - fixed inventory stack size being ignored
    - fixed manipulated items can knock down trees
    - improved wooden floor construction

    If I build something with scrap and deconstruct it; it doesn'g give me the scrap back. Was nice to build temporary scaffolding, but since such a build doesn't use just 1 scrap it eat 5 or 6 that I never get back.
    (build a fire bucket, to convert branches to scrap, deconstruct fire bucket 0 scrap). Was nice when tree branches showed as scrap that could be put immediately into containers.

    Stones fall as stone ( 1x) and have to be picked up separately. Can stack stones on the ground and make up to stone (5x) but then cannot use manipulator tool to move stones.
    Scraps stack in piles of 10.

    I thought direction keys worked to manipulated objects. (Oh I see, they do, but not all of them. Using insert/home/delete/pgup etc doesn't move object in manipulator tool)

    You know, like SE is currently getting planets teasers, could we potentially get some teasers for the big features upcoming for ME?

    Can no longer create some stones and scraps in creative mode to leave to test building a block in survival mode.

    Edit: At least I can make a chest and stuff it with scraps and stones and copy and paste it with it's contents....

    The three little engineers and the big bad barbarian. One made his house of scrap branches and timbers, the second built his house out of wood blocks and the third builds his house out of stone block. The Barbarians knock down the first two houses but can't knock down the stone house but they do manage to bash the door in and then wolves show up and eat everyone. The End.

    this will be the last week of fixes/optimizations?
    im intrigued because the devs never told how long going to be that period.

    I mean, to be technical, we can't confirm that this week is even a content patch for SE (Despite the evidence, it could just be KSH f-ing with us).

    And that isn't to say that the ME bug fixing period couldn't go longer than the SE bug fixing period either.

    well... Even bugfixes are part of patchmas i.m.o... But i would actually like to see new content being added to the game, more contruction models for survial, better minions(see signature for description), procedurally generated world, survival crafting or something, ores, smithing.... Ore food options...... Thats more than i thought i wanted... :D

    hahaha, i posted my feeling but im pretty happy with the bugfixes, we need them and i want planets in S.E. when keen think they are ready for us.
