Omg, I just had an amazing idea for space engineers, that I had to share with you guys at KSH! For endgame content / beating the game, you could implement an option for a world boss! They could even respawn after a while like minecraft's enderdragon!

I must be missing something, I am not seeing anything that looks "new".

Hmm lets see if I can be first to guess:

The aspect ratio and parallax differences if the falling viewpoint makes me think... VR?

hmm... random power devices failures in Survival mode ? (which I would really like to see :) as an option)

Being on a ship that is already locked into an orbit on autopilot so that you may walk around on deck and see a constant sunset (setting sun rotation to static allows guaranteed sightseeing waypoints). Dark sides of planets become more competitive because it is possible to turn off all light and be invisible expect for LED's already in a character model or in keypads.

Jump points can occur near the edge of an eclipse so that ships can use Newtonian physics to float with engines off so as to not produce a glare. Since there is no sound in space, only light and radiation output is detectable. Since it is the edge of an eclipse, players in the dark could be out of range for jumping out since the planet is barely obstructing LOS to the Sun, which we could define as a prerequsite for Solar Jumping.

This incentivizes combat in the darkness at the risk of no escape.
