PLEASE TEACH ME

please could some one teach me how to mod. iv looked everywhere and watched countless videos and tried to learn on my own but still I cant make anything happen. even if someone link me to an updated video or something. I'm not very computer smart but I can eventually get it if I just can get a foothold. yes I have tried learning from wiki and reading forums but I'm a very visual learner I suck at reading instructions and its very very difficult for me to learn that way. if anyone could help you would be amazing

I'm in somewhat similar shoes. Have you tried looking into the code of existing mods? This post got me a foothold, just that in step 7 of Basic Setup the mods are found in ...\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\... . You can get a mods id from its url in the workshop.
For docs malware did a good job at his github https://github.com/malware-dev/MDK-SE/wiki/Api-Index. Although it's for ingame scripts
